How I clone the Clockify in 3 days…
Hi everyone, I’m Pavithra N, an aspiring full stack developer, Iam here to share my experience on how i made a clone of Clockify in 3 days for Masai School.
I would like to thank my team members Suhaib Ahmed and Akshay Khadam for being a part of my project.
Clockify is a time tracking and time sheet software for them to track their projects in hourly basis. It has graphical visualisations through the calendar and graph for better understanding of the project working hours.

Assigned a task to clone Clockify
Let me begin my journey with some of the challenges I faced and in spite all these how I completed my work.
As we three are from different teams it took us half a day to understand each strengths and weaknesses, later we divided the task into equal parts. By the end of the day I feel sick with Viral fever, cold and severe headache. So I couldn’t able to complete my work for the day.
From the second day I started to work on pages and created Signing-In, Features, Download pages.
Coming to the dashboard, I was assigned to create a Dynamic Nav bar with a profile name and email ID and dynamic Sidebar.
For Dynamic Navbar creation I used local storage to store email and password to display on the Navbar as soon as user login to the dashboard.
Used Mouse hovering and events to change the size of pages and images when we click on navbar and drop down menu to display the profile information.
Meantime my other teammates were working on the other features of the project.
Successfully we created a cloned Clockify in three days.
Here, is the list of pages we have cloned.
Thanks to my team members for their dedication and hard work. With them i wouldn’t able to complete it. And last but not the least i would to thank Masai School for guiding and giving me this opportunity to work on this project.
